On February 8, 2018, our founder Karyne Tinord was invited by the President of Brooklyn Technical high school book club, Gäelle Alcindor to read her self published poetry book ” Poetry Diaries “.
What made it so great is that Gäelle Alcindor, has been volunteering with YTC for some time now, first as an assistant and now as an Marketing intern, so to know she is in a leadership position is so wonderful. The event was organized and full of empowered youth.
